Just joined a trios league where the teams are done by a draft.I have been in such a slump the past few years.All the way down to 164 ave.Didn't think too much about it as all I wanted was to get on a team in a serious money league,and hope this would snap me out of the  W.T.F who cares feeling.....

Well  I was 1st pick,and the captain"230 ave" just said don't worry..I know what your capable of,and you'll have a great year.There is someone out there that still thinks I have the mojo.

To top it all off is that this is a scratch league with most of the"100" bowlers  above 190 ave.League starts offically starts next week..so crunch time getting my head game in order..actually been doing that the last 3 months.I worked on my confidence/trust/etc...Now I have that trust,belief etc from a respected team captain...I'm pumped,and ready to roll

Well things are just headed south for me these days.

Was looking forward to a decent year,but the league I bowl on folded 2wks into the season.

Working nights makes it impossible to bowl other nights.Bowl on Sat. afternoon,but a very small league.Other problem is when the tournaments are held on weekends..our league.. well cancel that week.Oh because its a small league the rest of the lanes are open play most are young kids with flash cameras out for a good time.

Same goes for getting any practice in..house is full of young children that just run all over the place..like up and down the approach.Almost wiped out an 8 yr old because the kid ran in front of me as I started my delivery.Night time on the weekends well moonlight bowling..

Really thinking of packing it in myself as my ave. well just sucks..down to 164.No heart feel,or drive anymore.You know the end is near when you throw 130 games and just shrug your shoulders,and say oh well.Even when you do throw a good 200+ game there just isn't any emotion.

I'll see how things go the next few months...

Well almost another month gone..days are getting shorter now,and I 'm looking for that first frost ..LOL

Finally got a ball that will hook,hooks so much that it makes me proud...NOT..Too bad it has to be a GOLF BALL....LMAO Like my bowling I don"t get out enough..been almost 5yrs since I swung a club...

Well enough of that..back to frustration on the lanes.Had taken a month off,and came back to an outright insane lane condition.Guess it was a flat pattern as everything I tried at the time moved off to the right.

Only bowled 2games,and the only line I found was standing left of centre,and shooting 1 board left of centre with very little effort,and just get the ball into an early roll,and I could find the 1/3 pocket.Every line on the right moved to the right.If you tried to force it,or angle in  just headpin hits,or splits..

Oh well back to the hooking golf ball..maybe polish the ball ,,that might work..lol

Well just got back from a tournament in Portland May17/18.

Might as well say I sucked big time..was way to hot,and humid.Just sapped the energy right out of me.Never could handle the heat..lol

The main ball I used was the roto grip "Epic" which broke nice into the pocket,but thats all it did..just no power thru the pins.Changed over to my Storm"Sure Fire",and wow what power thru the pins..too bad I didn't do that earlier...The heat,humidity had bagged me out,and it was all I could do just to be there.

Well now for a break..my building is being re-piped,and not much peace for the next 5-6 months,and working nights just complicates everything.

Hi All:

      Finally got in tune with my ball..roto grip"epic" the 1st one in the series

Been bowling the pits,but not all my fault as I was told that there was a problem with the lane dressing...all patchy..etc..been that way for some time

The real part that sucks is I strained my shoulder.Bowled 9 games.Guess I just over did it.Was really concerned as I could not raise my arm above my waist,but after 2days I can now raise my arm over my head without pain..just a tight feeling..Going to take a break for 2wks just to be on the safe side.

will be in Portland for a tornament May/17-18th..at least I can start to say I am getting that feeling back..haven't felt it for a very long time
